Hospital upgrades victim of crash
LISBON -- Terry L. Endsley, 36, of Newgarden Avenue, Salem, remains in Akron City Hospital, where he was listed in satisfactory condition this morning. He was in serious condition in the intensive care unit for several days after a Feb. 10 accident.
The Lisbon post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash, in Butler Township, in which Benjamin M. Kastanek, 24, of 4467 Woodsdale Road, was killed.
The patrol said Endsley was driving south on Woodsdale Road with Kastanek as a passenger about 4:43 a.m. The car went off the right side of the road, striking a bridge, then an embankment, and coming to rest in a creek.
