Merz-Parker wedding to be in Youngstown

COLUMBIANA -- Announced by Rita and Paul Merz, 46000 Metz Road, is the engagement of their daughter, Susan Michelle Merz, and J.C. Parker, both of 407 Copper Creek Circle, Pooler, Ga.
Miss Merz graduated from the Ohio State University in Columbus with a master's degree in elementary education. She is a second-grade teacher with Chatham County Board of Education in Pooler.
Mr. Parker, an optometrist with Optical Solutions at Hilton Head Island, S.C., earned a doctor of optometry degree at OSU.
The Marble Room at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown will be the setting for the couple's wedding at 5:30 p.m. July 13, and their reception will be held afterward in the Grand Ballroom at the auditorium. Invitations will be issued for both.
