Genene Wilson, Steve Mattern to wed Aug. 31

YOUNGSTOWN -- Genene Wilson and Steve Mattern, both of 250 Wychwood Lane, are announcing plans for their upcoming marriage.
The couple have chosen Aug. 31 for their afternoon wedding at St. Charles Church, Boardman, and for their evening reception at St. Maron Pavilion. Invitations will be issued.
Miss Wilson, a daughter of Donna Wilson, 18 N. Brockway Ave., and the late Gene Wilson, is a head server at Scacchetti's Italian Steakhouse in Austintown. She is a graduate of Ohio College of Massotherapy in Akron.
Joe and Kathy Mattern, 320 E. Auburndale Ave., are parents of the future groom. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and is the manager at Rent-A-Center in Calcutta.
