2 women arrested in Sharon

SHARON, Pa. -- Police called to a disturbance at a house in the 400 block of Alderman Avenue arrested two women, but not for creating a disturbance.
Diana L. Pack, 35, who lives in the house, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said she had two crack pipes and a small amount of suspected crack cocaine in her possession.
She was arraigned before District Justice James McMahon, who freed her on her own recognizance.
Police ran a warrants check on a number of people who were in the house when officers arrived around 4:20 p.m. Saturday and found an outstanding warrant against one of them.
Brenda L. Ivey, 35, of Malleable Street, was wanted on a Mercer County fugitive-from-justice warrant for failing to show up for a court hearing on a theft charge. Police said she was immediately taken to Mercer County Jail to await a court appearance on the fugitive charge.
Police said they found various pieces of drug paraphernalia inside the house and that at least one additional arrest is expected.
