Laura Stoops to be May bride of Zachary Jacobs

Kathy Stoops of Youngstown and James Stoops of Port St. Lucie, Fla., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Laura Stoops, and Zachary Jacobs, a son of James and Antoinette Jacobs, all of 891 Sandalwood Road W., Perrysburg.
The couple have chosen May 11 for their open wedding at 3 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and for their evening reception to be held by invitation at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, both in Youngstown.
Miss Stoops is pursuing a degree in biology/premed at Bowling Green State University, where Mr. Jacobs is working toward a degree in business/finance. She will attend Illinois College of Optometry in the fall.
