First Niles Financialreports lower earnings
NILES -- First Niles Financial, the holding company for Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Niles, earned $242,000 in the fourth quarter last year, compared with $412,000 in the same quarter of 2000. For all of 2001, First Niles earned $821,000, compared with $807,000 for 2000.
Career center offersmanagement course
CHAMPION -- The Trumbull Career & amp; Technical Center is offering a nine-hour management course called People, Plans, Programs and Costs. Classes will be on three consecutive Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. starting Feb. 21. Control standards, processes, targets and cost-improvement strategies will be covered.
