Miss Zirounis, Mr. Papakirk to be married

The engagement of Rubena Zirounis of Youngstown and Demetrios Papakirk of Cranberry Township, Pa., is being announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Mrs. Florence Zirounis of Youngstown and the late Michael N. Zirounis. Parents of the future groom are Mr. and Mrs. Costas Papakirk of Thessaloniki, Greece.
Nuptial vows will be exchanged by the couple during an open ceremony at 3:30 p.m. May 26 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Youngstown. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Antone's Banquet Centre, Boardman.
Miss Zirounis graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in applied science. She is a registered general medical technologist with Forum Health in Youngstown.
Mr. Papakirk earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance and a master's in management at Miami University at Oxford. He is the manager of operations finance with the H.J. Heinz Co. in Pittsburgh.
