The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas after being honored at a reception at St. Mark's Hall.
They live in Youngstown.
The bride is a daughter of the late Alonzo M. Sr. and Florence Powell, and the groom is a son of the late James W. and Guylene W. Bowman.
Mrs. Bowman is a health-care associate in intermediate coronary care at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mr. Bowman, who attended Akron University, is a car hauler for Leaseway in Lewiston, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Army.
A beaded bodice and sweetheart neckline highlighted the bride's ivory gown of organza.
Honor attendant was Marsha Brown. Bridesmaids were Crystal Robinson, Natalie Brown, Amber Rios, Sandra Williams, Pinkie Ivey, Bonnie Anderson, Victoria Turnage and Waynette Allen. They wore eggplant-colored dresses. Flower girls were Kendra and Ashanti Allen and Niera Monroe.
James D. Bowman served as best man. Groomsmen were Guy W. Bowman, Patrick Allen, Michael Allen, Steven Allen, Anthony Allen, Jonathan Brown, Neal Monroe IV and Daniel Rios. Ring bearer was Steven Allen Jr.
