Director at KSUTC is named to panel
CHAMPION -- Margaret Croyts, director of Workforce Development and Continuing Studies at Kent State University Trumbull Campus, has been named to the Ohio Board of Regents' advisory committee for work force development.
Michael Taggart, director of work force development for the board, said Croyts was chosen for her experience with business and industry.
The 17-member committee consists of senior-level administrators from state institutions who play an important role in economic development and work-force training.
Croyts, who has 25 years of experience in the field, said she is pleased to represent the Mahoning Valley on the committee.
Under her leadership, KSUTC has built a new $4.9 million work-force center, with more than $1 million in new equipment. She recently established an adaptive technology lab to train people with disabilities for computer-related jobs.
