Applications available for youth pilgrimage



WARREN -- Applications are available for students who want to apply to the IOOF United Nations youth pilgrimage to New York City, sponsored by Mahoning Lodge 29, Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Information packets have been distributed to all Trumbull County high schools. Applicants must be sophomores or juniors to participate.
Students will compete in a speech contest and participate in a talent show. The educational tour will be from six to 16 days long, during June or July. A specific date has not been chosen.
Interviews will be arranged and candidates will take an exam, write an essay and/or participate in a local speech contest. Selection will be at 1 p.m. March 16 at the IOOF temple, 371 High Street.
