Southern Local upends Leetonia

SALINEVILLE -- Behind 22-20 at intermission, the Southern Local High basketball team used a 12-5 surge to pull away from Leetonia for a 51-42 victory in the Tri-County League.
Ja Staley paced the Indians (6-12, 2-10) with 15 points, two assists and three steals.
Fresh Josh Diaz added 11 points and he grabbed seven rebounds, had two assists and three steals.
Jeremy Hoaglin and Matt Custer led the Bears (4-13, 2-11) with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
