YOUNGSTOWN -- The U.S. Route 224 bridge over Berlin Reservoir will close Monday for replacement.
The bridge will reopen in mid-August. The anticipated completion date for the entire $2,196,560 project is Oct. 31.
Boaters will be able to pass through the construction area, though there could be some delays when blasting begins in early March.
Board to discuss center
BOARDMAN -- The board of education will have a special meeting at 9 p.m. Sunday in the superintendent's office at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St., to discuss the proposed township park district's recreation center.
