SOFTBALL
Westminster College -- will conduct a fast-pitch skills clinic for girls in grades 5-12 on March 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Areas covered will be hitting, bunting, fielding, baserunning, throwing and position play. Cost is $30. For information, call Jan Reddinger (724) 946-7319.
Crestview Middle School -- is where the Crestview Softball Association will have signups today from 4-7 p.m. A ham dinner fund-raiser is available at that time. Signups for girls ages 7-15 also will be Feb. 23 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the New Waterford Community Building. BASKETBALL
West Branch/United Hoop Classic -- will be held for boys and girls in grades 3-6 on March 11th through the 31st. The deadline to enter is Feb. 15. For details call (330) 337-7652 or (330) 584-9383.
Over-40 League -- There will a meeting at 2 p.m. Saturday at the old South field house for anybody interest in sponsoring or coaching in the 40 and Over Basketball League. The fee to sponsor a team is $375. Call the park department at (330) 742-8711 for more information.
