Attorneys await results from DNA tests in seminal fluid case

NILES -- Results haven't come back from DNA tests on seminal fluid a Brookfield man is accused of throwing on women at the Eastwood Mall and surrounding stores last year.
A pretrial hearing had been set for Wednesday morning in Niles Municipal Court for Robert Leroy Gibson III, 38, of South Albright McKay Road. Gibson, who is accused of tossing the fluid at four women between August and November at the stores, is charged with seven counts of criminal mischief and one count of aggravated trespassing, all misdemeanors. The hearing was reset for 9 a.m. March 15.
Atty. J. Walter Dragelevich, who represents Gibson, said they are awaiting the DNA test results before proceeding. Tests, which will determine if the semen came from Gibson, are being conducted by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation.
Dragelevich said the results are expected this month. Gibson also faces charges in Warren and Girard municipal courts. He is accused of throwing semen on women at stores in Howland and Liberty.
