Armstrong's 3-pointers key triumph for West Branch

AKRON -- Ashley Armstrong scored 20 points Wednesday as the West Branch High girls basketball team defeated Akron Springfield, 60-32.
Six of Armstrong's seven baskets were 3-pointers.
Amber Metzgar added 13 points for the Warriors (16-3, 14-0 Northeastern Buckeye Conference).
Ashtabula Edgewood 53, Py Valley 29: ANDOVER -- Pam Dreslinski scored 11 points to lead Edgewood, which led 23-9 at halftime.
Heather Lucik scored 12 points for Pymatuning Valley (3-14, 2-9 Northeastern Conference), which shot 11-for-52 (21 percent) from the floor. Roz Reynolds added five points and nine rebounds.
