JAN. 28
Theft: A set of left-handed golf clubs in a golf bag, a women's golf club set, an electric staple gun and a cordless drill were stolen from a garage in the 400 block of Carriage Hill Drive.
JAN. 29
Theft: A 39-year-old Salem woman was arrested for theft at Giant Eagle. She is accused of trying to take several packs of pencils, a box of cigarettes, snuff, a miniature teddy bear, a nasal spray and three video tapes.
Theft: A 51-year-old Youngstown man was arrested for stealing 34 packs of cigarettes at Giant Eagle.
JAN. 30
Shoplifting: A 43-year-old Youngstown man was arrested on charges of assault and shoplifting at Giant Eagle after stealing cans of baby formula and engaging in a fight with the store security employee. The suspect's brother, a 38-year-old Youngstown man, was arrested for driving under suspension and for several unspecified Youngstown warrants.
JAN. 31
Theft: Money, appliances and tables valued at $4,700 total were reported stolen Jan. 25 from a residence on Callahan Drive.
Charges: A 29-year-old Leffingwell Road man was arrested at Vintage Auto on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse and carrying a concealed weapon.

JAN. 27
Robbery: A black male wearing a stocking cap took $88 from the cash register at Howard Johnson's.
Theft: 80 gallons of diesel fuel were stolen from the Speedway station, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Rd.
Theft: Gasoline was reported stolen from True North gas station, 60 Ohltown Road.
Auto theft: A 1997 Ford F-150 pickup truck was stolen after it was involved in an accident at Styx, 3680 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: The key to a vehicle was stolen at a residence in the 100 block of North Roanoke Ave.
Tampering: Money was taken from a vending machine at TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: Diesel fuel was reported stolen from the TA Travel Center.
JAN. 29
Theft: A wallet was stolen from Taco Bell, 4523 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A videotape theft was reported at West Coast Video, 1502 S. Raccoo Road.
Theft: A temporary Ohio tag was stolen from a vehicle in the first block of S. Edgehill Ave.
Theft: A cell phone was reported stolen from Gateways to Better Living, 153 Javit Court.

Criminal Damage: Forty-eight feet of lawn was damaged at a residence in the 1000 block of Collins Avenue.
Theft: 178 gallons of fuel was taken from the Pilot gas station, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A radio/CD player was stolen rom a vehicle at Wal-Mart.
FEB. 1
Robbery: Cigarettes were stolen at Phar-Mor and the suspect fought with store employees while attempting to flee.
Vehicle damage: Damage was reported to a vehicle at Tamco, 365 Victoria Road.
Theft: A bracelet was reported stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Shadow Oak Drive.
FEB. 2
Break-in: Two juveniles were arrested for breaking and entering One Stop Shop, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking: The lock was cut on a storage area and unknown items were taken in the 3000 block of LeHarps Road.
Theft: The dashboard and a CD player were damaged and 50 CDs were taken from a vehicle in the 1800 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A Motorola cell phone was stolen from Sammy Maxx lounge, 1722 S. Raccoon Road.
