MAHONING COUNTY Man faces charges after police chase

AUSTINTOWN -- A Youngstown man is facing several charges after a chase with police Tuesday night.
The man, 25, of Logan Gate Road, was charged with failure to comply with the order of a police officer, fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest, driving under suspension, a stop-sign violation and failure to use turn signals.
He also is wanted in Trumbull County for failing to appear on a traffic charge.
Reports state that the man committed a traffic violation on Westchester Drive around 11 p.m. but do not indicate the nature of the violation.
The man got on state Route 11 and drove to Interstate 680 before police caught up and pulled him over.
The man told an officer that he didn't have any identification but he knew his 10-digit social security number. Social security numbers have nine digits. The officer then asked the man for his real name. In response, the man said he was "out of here," and drove south on I-680.
The man exited at Meridian Road and took it to Vestal Road in Youngstown, where he got out of his car and began to run to Oregon Street.
When the man got to Riblett Road, police ordered him to stop and get on the ground. He complied.
