Grimms observe 50th anniversary by renewing vows



XLARGO, FLA. -- Nuptial vows were renewed at 5 p.m. Dec. 11 at Anona United Methodist Church by Mr. and Mrs. Louis Grimm, 1071 Donegan Road, as the couple observed their 50th wedding anniversary.
The celebration was arranged for the former Youngstown residents by their children, Patti Grimm, Douglas Grimm and Denise Arroyo, all of Largo; Gail Grimm and April Cross, both of Clearwater, Fla.; and Debra Grimm of St. Petersburg, Fla. Thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren complete the family.
Mr. Grimm served four years with the U.S. Navy and retired in 1985 from Volkswagen of American in New Stanton, Pa., where he was a general supervisor. He is a member of the VFW at Indian Rock Beach, Fla.
While living in the Youngstown area, Mrs. Grimm was employed at Mahoning National Bank.
The former Patricia Magner and Mr. Grimm were married Dec. 11, 1952, at the Methodist Church in Baltimore, Md. They are members of Anona United Methodist Church.
