A purse snatching is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:

Location: Hermitage
Details: Police said a woman was walking in the parking lot of an East State Street business about 10:45 p.m. Dec. 22 when she was approached by a man. He took her purse and then ran into a red van, unidentified make or model, possibly with temporary registration plates.
Description: The man is described as white, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 150 pounds, with a brown goatee.

Reward: Crime Solvers, a nonprofit organization, offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for a serious crime in Mercer County.
