XYOUNGSTOWN -- Carrie Ann Wilson, a daughter of James E. and Carol Wilson, Cathyann Drive, Boardman, and Atty. Tony Meranto of Boardman, a son of Dolores Meranto, Tod Lane, and the late Joseph Meranto, were united in marriage Dec. 27 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Monsignor Michael Cariglio and Deacon Joseph Nohra presided at the 5 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held afterward in the church hall.
The bride's A-line winter white satin gown was trimmed with fur and featured a cathedral train.
The honor attendant, Sarah Speziale, and the bridesmaids, Christina Cheffo, Victoria DiBias, Tera Myhal, and Deanna Santore wore cranberry-colored gowns.
Joseph Merantoy performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Lou Berroteran, Atty. Lou DeFabio, Atty. Michael Rich, and Steven Sotlar.
Also participating were Petey and Peter Santore; Joey Meranto; Jim, Jamie and Jeff Wilson; Annie Meranto, Andreanna Santore; Judge James Lanzo; Atty Tom Zena; Atty John Shultz; Atty Miriam Ocasio; and David Myhal.
The bride graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University where she is pursuing a teaching license in special education. She is a bailiff for Judge Scott Hunter.
The groom received a bachelor's degree in business from YSU and earned his juris doctorate at the University of Akron. He has a private practice in Boardman.
The couple left on a wedding trip to Florida and will live in Boardman.
