CANFIELD
Dec. 16
Theft: A digital camera with a memory card was stolen from Canfield Middle School, 42 Wadsworth St.
Dec. 17
Drug abuse, drug paraphernalia: A small bag of suspected marijuana and a marijuana pipe were found in a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Youngstown man who was stopped for speeding in the 30 block of Skyline Drive. The man was arrested.
Dec. 19
Recovered weapons: A South Broad Street woman found knives in her son's bedroom and turned them over to police. She was not interested in pressing charges. Found were a brown-handled knife and a black knife with eight blades on it.
Theft: An Apple McIntosh G-3 Powerbook laptop was stolen from the Canfield High School media center equipment room.

Dec. 15
Sex offense: A 14-year-old girl was the victim in an assault at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Criminal damage: The driver's side window of a vehicle was broken in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: A CD player was stolen from a vehicle parked at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1989 Chevrolet Caprice was stolen from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: The driver's side window on a vehicle was damaged in the residential 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Theft: Police arrested a woman for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A tire was punctured at Lucianno's, 1732 S. Raccoon Road.
Criminal trespass: Police arrested a woman for criminal trespass at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road, and placed her in Mahoning County Jail.
Theft: Tarps were stolen from a tractor-trailer parked at Pilot, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was hit by a BB pellet in the residential 1600 block of Yolanda Place.
Auto theft: A 1994 Chrysler LeBaron was stolen from Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A black purse was reported stolen at Scacchetti's, 3781 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: Tires were cut on a vehicle in the 500 block of Duke Circle.
Criminal damage: Vinyl siding was hit by a BB pellet in the residential 200 block of Woodgate Street.
Lost or stolen wallet: A woman reported her wallet missing at Regal Cinema, 6020 Mahoning Ave.
Menacing: A woman reported being menaced by an unidentified man in the 400 block of Forest Hill.
Aggravated menacing: A man is accused in an incident in the 3000 block of Almerinda Drive.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons for the arrest of a man for possession of marijuana at South Raccoon and New roads.
Theft: Tarps were stolen from a tractor-trailer at Pilot, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Police arrested a woman for theft at Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: A Sony PlayStation and video games were stolen from a residence in the 400 block of South Turner Road.
Search: Police recovered suspected drug paraphernalia from a residence in the 6000 block of Abbott Avenue.
Criminal damage: A vehicle engine was damaged in the residential 2000 block of Redgate Lane.
Burglary: The rear door was forced open and a VCR and remote control car were stolen in the residential 3000 block of Rosemont Avenue.
Theft from auto: A CD player was damaged and CDs were stolen from the Upstairs Lounge, 4500 Mahoning Ave.
Dec. 18
Sex offense: Police arrested a suspect at the Japanese Spa, 3790 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: The front door window was broken and a television and stereo taken at a private residence in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Police arrested a man for stealing steaks at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Someone stole merchandise from Belleria Pizza, 5625 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: Vinyl siding was marked with red paint in the 4000 block of Shadow Oak Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a woman for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Dec. 19
Destroyed animal: An injured deer was destroyed at New Road at Countryside Drive.
Breaking and entering: Firearms were stolen from Price Brothers, 1749 S. Raccoon Road.
Warrant: Police arrested a woman in the 6000 block of Abbot Avenue on a warrant out of Mahoning County Court here for failure to appear on a probation violation.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged in the residential 4000 block of Falcon Drive.
Lost/stolen property: A gold ring was reported missing at J.C. Penney Co., 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A mirror was taken from outside of the building at Bank One, 4243 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested two men at Trustees Park, 1055 S. Raccoon Road. They were wanted on warrants. The warrant for one man was for drug abuse from Hubbard police and the warrant for the other man was from the Trumbull County sheriff for failure to appear on a fugitive charge.
Dec. 20
Assault: A woman told police her boyfriend assaulted her in the 5000 block of Red Apple Drive.
Theft: Items were reported taken by an employee at Days Inn, 1051 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Bogus checks: Bad checks were passed at Days Inn.
Theft: A motor vehicle title was stolen from a residence in the 300 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Dec. 21
Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at Taco Bell, 4523 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Fifteen DVDs were stolen by a man at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., who was jailed on a probation violation warrant.
Criminal trespass: An unidentified woman was found in the office at Dollar General, 6000 Mahoning Ave. The woman ran away.
Attempted burglary: A storm door was kicked and damaged in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
