Trailwood Gardeners hold installation



BOARDMAN -- Jean Crisman, outgoing president of Trailwood Gardeners of Poland, installed new officers during the annual Christmas luncheon and guest day Dec. 17 at the Holiday Inn South.
Linda DeLost is president; Sally Foster, vice president; Doris Rice, secretary; and Dee Ringer, treasurer.
Committee chairmen are Sally Foster, program; Mary Jean Becherer, civic beautification and community service; Ellen Dennison, ways and means; Dorothy Brooks, publicity and historian; Marilyn Sutton, sunshine; Jill Yonata, telephone; Dot Mollineaux, nominating; and Ritchie Jones, Forum Features reporter.
Hostesses for the event were Crisman, DeLost, Margaret Yentch and Ringer.
The group was visited by Bill Dick in the guise of St. Nicholas.
The group meets the third Tuesday of the month from January through May. Its projects are civic beautification and community service in Poland and financial support to the Garden Forum of the Greater Youngstown Area. Each year the club sponsors a garage sale in May.
The first meeting of 2003 will be a soup-making event and auction at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 21 the home of Betty Millard with co-hostesses Kitty Heineman and Sharon Israel.
