TALITHA ALLENBRYANN TURKIN
XCANFIELD -- Talitha Lynn Allen, daughter of John Terry and Pixie Allen of Youngstown, and Bryann G. Turkin, son of Henry and Gloria Turkin of Houston, exchanged marriage vows Nov. 30 at Destiny International Ministries.
The Rev. Rodney L. Tucker of Akron performed the ceremony, and later the newlyweds were honored during a reception at St. Michael Social Hall, Youngstown.
The bride wore a sleeveless, white gown designed with a satin fitted sheath and high neckline. The basque waistline and bodice were embroidered with pearls and crystals.
Honor attendant was the bride's sister, Sheree Allen of Ypsilanti, Mich., who wore a purple dress. The flower girl, Sydney Ordogne of Houston, wore a white dress.
Performing the duties of best man was the groom's twin brother, Ryann Turkin of Houston. Ushers were Marcus Harden of Greensboro, N.C., and Ryan Allen of Youngstown, the brothers of the bride. Ring bearer was Blake Doubleday of Houston, the groom's son.
The bride graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in radio and television communication. She is a sales assistant with Millennium Inc. in Houston.
Mr. Turkin is a youth counselor in Houston.
The couple are making their home in Houston.
