XBOARDMAN -- Married at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at Westminster Presbyterian Church were Karen Ann Garchar of Boardman, daughter of Stephen and Dorothy Garchar of Boardman, and Mark Samuel Luke, also of Boardman, son of the late Paul and Felicitas Luke.
The Rev. David Joachim officiated, and a reception was held in the Grand Ballroom at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.
After a honeymoon trip to Washington and the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the couple are living at 6807 Tanglewood Drive.
The bride's sleeveless gown of diamond-white satin was fashioned with a portrait neckline, fitted bodice, A-line skirt and train. A Dior bow accented the waistline, and a tiara of pearls and sequins held her veil.
Jennifer Kollar was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Elaine D'Alesio; Donna Dyll; Linda Garchar and Marianne Murphy, the bride's sisters; Terri Luke, the groom's sister-in-law; and Kelly Murphy, the bride's niece. They wore champagne-colored ensembles. Flower girl was Mackenzie Dyll.
The groom's brother, George Luke, was best man, and groomsmen were Curt Bodamer, Joseph Factor, Ted Largent, Terry Murphy, the bride's brother-in-law; and David Reed.
Mrs. Luke is assistant vice president and regional human-resources manager with Sky Financial Group, Sky Bank in Youngstown.
Her husband is assistant vice president of corporate banking at National City Corp. in Youngstown.
