ATLANTA -- Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 28 points as Atlanta overcame the absence of Glenn Robinson and a season-ending injury to Emanual Davis to defeat Philadelphia. Atlanta ended its five-game losing streak and snapped Philadelphia's three-game winning streak. Allen Iverson, who played 48 minutes Friday in an overtime victory over the Lakers, shot just 6-of-28 to finish with 13 points. Philadelphia had two chances to tie it, but Eric Snow missed a driving layup and Keith Van Horn got the rebound but rimmed out a 15-footer just before the final buzzer. Ira Newble added 15 and Jason Terry had 12 for Atlanta, which beat Philadelphia for just the second time in their last 12 meetings. Theo Ratliff had just five points and five rebounds in his first game against his former team since being traded to Atlanta on Feb. 21, 2001 in the deal that sent Dikembe Mutombo to Philadelphia.
Timberwolves 98, Rockets 86
MINNEAPOLIS -- Troy Hudson hit five 3-pointers in the first half and Kevin Garnett dominated the second half as Minnesota ended Houston's three-game winning streak. Garnett had 27 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. He scored 13 of Minnesota's 21 points in the third quarter, then combined with Gary Trent for 16 points in the fourth as the Wolves used a 16-7 run over the last 8:47 to close out the win. Steve Francis led the Rockets with 24 points and Yao Ming finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds after struggling in the first half. Rod Strickland chipped in 14 points and seven assists, and Trent had 12 points and 13 rebounds for Minnesota.
Nets 100, Pistons 92
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Overcoming a traffic jam, a bloody nose and the league's longest winning streak, Jason Kidd had 27 points, 12 assists and five steals to lead New Jersey. Richard Jefferson added 19 points as the Nets won their ninth straight at home and ended the Pistons' season-high six-game winning streak. Lucious Harris added 16 points and Rodney Rogers had 13 for the Nets, who beat the Pistons for only the second time in 17 games. Detroit won at home earlier this year. Ben Wallace had 11 points and 14 rebounds for Detroit, which lost for the first time since Dec. 7. Clifford Robinson added 19 points, Chauncey Billups 14 and Richard Hamilton 13 for the Pistons, who hurt themselves with 23 turnovers.
Bucks 94, Knicks 90
MILWAUKEE -- Sam Cassell scored 25 points, including two key jump shots in the closing seconds, to lead Milwaukee. Michael Redd had 21 points for Milwaukee, Anthony Mason matched his season high with 16 and Joel Przybilla tied his career high with 14 rebounds. Allan Houston led the Knicks with 17 points. Kurt Thomas had 16 and Latrell Sprewell 13.
Spurs 92, Wizards 81
SAN ANTONIO -- Tony Parker scored 21 points, including back-to-back 3-pointers in the final minutes. The Spurs trailed by 10 at the half but made 22 of 36 shots after the break to snap Washington's three-game winning streak. San Antonio ended the game with a 17-6 run. Tim Duncan added 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Stephen Jackson contributed 17 points. Jerry Stackhouse led Washington with 19 points, while Michael Jordan and Christian Laettner had 16 points each.
Bulls 110, Pacers 103
CHICAGO -- Jalen Rose scored all but three of his 28 points in the fourth quarter to lead Chicago. Rose also had seven rebounds and five assists against his old team. Marcus Fizer had 18 off the bench and Donyell Marshall added 16 points and 15 rebounds for the Bulls. Jay Williams had a busy night, finishing with 14 points and 13 assists despite getting five stitches in the forehead after being elbowed in the head by Reggie Miller. Brad Miller had another big night against the Bulls, leading the Pacers with 26 points and 13 rebounds.
