Loghurst program to befor young historians
CANFIELD -- A monthly educational program called the "Young Historians Club" will be from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month at Loghurst on U.S. Route 224.
The program offers crafts and activities about history for children ages 6 through 12. Pre-registration is required.
The cost to participate is $10 per program for Western Reserve Historical Society members, $12 per program for nonmembers. Contact Loghurst for more information or to register.
Watershed alliance plans workshop
CANFIELD -- The Alliance for Watershed Action and Riparian Easements will meet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 8 at McMahon Hall at Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, Route 46.
The meeting will be the annual party, evaluation and workshop. Lunch will be provided. Reservations must be submitted by Jan. 6 by calling (330) 533-2231.
The alliance also will have its regular meeting from 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 29 at McMahon Hall.
