Kiwanis Club honors members

YOUNGSTOWN -- Legion of Honor awards for perfect attendance were presented to several members when the Kiwanis Club of Youngstown met Dec. 6 at the YMCA.
James Mumaw was honored for his 50 years of perfect attendance, and other members receiving attendance awards were Charlie Rudibaugh and George Woodman, 45; Bud Wick, 40; Tom Bode and Ed Gluck, 35; Bob Fisher, John Durkin, John Jeren and Jack Vutech, 30; and John Easterday, 25.
The chapter was established in 1916 as the 15th club of Kiwanis International. Its motto, "We Build," is used as the group raises money to benefit local service and youth organizations. The group meets at noon each Friday at the downtown YMCA.
