MEN'S REGIONAL BASKETBALL W. Michigan thumps Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. -- Robby Collum scored 17 points to lead five Western Michigan players in double figures, as the Broncos beat Auburn 72-54 in men's basketball action Tuesday night.
Western Michigan (6-2) also got 12 points apiece from Mike Williams and Anthony Kann, and 11 points apiece from Ben Reed and Reggie Berry.
Marquis Daniels led Auburn with 18 points. Marco Killingsworth added 15 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
Dayton 80, Ball St. 65
DAYTON, Ohio -- Ramod Marshall scored 23 points and was 3-for-5 from 3-point range for Dayton.
Nate Green added 12 points for Dayton (5-2), and Keith Waleskowski scored 10.
Ball State (5-3) was led by Chris Williams with 23 points. McCollom added 17, and Cameron Echols scored 10.
Morehead St. 101, Marshall 100 OT
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Craig Lewis hit a free throw with 2.4 seconds left in overtime and Ricky Minard scored 35 points for Morehead State.
Lewis scored 17 points, Chez Marks 14 and Kyle Hankins 10 for the Eagles (4-3).
Blackshear scored 23 points for Marshall (4-2).
South Florida 84, Northern Illinois 83
TAMPA, Fla. -- Will McDonald scored 28 points and Jimmy Baxter added 21 for South Florida.
McDonald also blocked seven shots and had 11 rebounds for South Florida (5-2).
P.J. Smith led all scorers with 35 points, including the first 13 for Northern Illinois (3-5) in the second half.

Manhattan 76, Wright St. 74
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Dave Holmes had 27 points -- including 15 straight in the second half -- and 15 rebounds to lead Manhattan in the second game of the Billy Minardi Classic.
Luis Flores had 16 and Jared Johnson had 10 for the Jaspers (4-1), who will play Louisville in today's tournament championship.
Hollins led Wright State (5-3) with 27 points and eight rebounds.

MACOMB, Ill. -- Willie Green scored 20 points to lead Detroit Mercy (4-2).
Luis Rivas had 15 points and seven rebounds for the Leathernecks (4-2).
Wis.-Milwaukee 84, Wis.-Parkside 70
MILWAUKEE -- Ronnie Jones and Dylan Page each scored 24 points for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (8-2).
Brian Maastricht led Parkside (5-4) with 14 points.

BETHANY, W.Va. -- Struthers High graduate Mike Majzun scored a game-high 25 points for Bethany.
Majzun hit nine of 17 shots from the field and added five assists and three steals for Bethany (3-6).
Matt Drahos and Derek Hoffman each added 14 points, while Jacob Dailer had 10 points for Bethany. Drahos grabbed 12 rebounds.
Allen Kirkpatrick and Matt Kersten scored 13 points each for Hiram, while Carlton Dean added 12. Brian Cecil grabbed 11 rebounds.
Westminster 71, Mt. Aloysius 62
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- South Range High graduate Chris Hatch had 19 points and four steals and Ursuline High graduate Greg Foster added 18 points and eight rebounds to pace Westminster.
Pat O'Connor contributed 16 points for the Titans (4-4), who won their third straight game.
