NORTH LIMA -- Beginning Friday and extending through Jan. 5, the Beaver Township Police Department will target speeders, drinkers and seat belt violators.
Overtime for the enforcement blitz is made possible through a state grant.
"There will be no warnings," said Police Chief Carl N. Frost.
The message, he said, is simple: You drink and drive, you lose.
Township police remind everyone this holiday season that if you plan to drink, don't drive, and choose a designated driver.
Report impaired drivers by calling (800) GRAB-DUI or cellular *DUI, he said.
