Niles AARP elects slate, plans party

NILES -- Niles Chapter 3530 of American Association of Retired Persons elected a new slate of officers for the 2003 season at its meeting Nov. 18 at Vernon's Cafe, Route 422.
The new officers are Mary Birskovich, president; Helen Birskovich, vice president; Ann Dzeda, secretary; Gay Krok, treasurer; Marie Petrella, membership; and Lena Youll, sunshine.
The group will hold its Christmas party at noon Monday at Vernon's. Food for the Kitchen Pantry will be collected. New members are welcome.
