Men's Garden Club officers are installed

CANFIELD -- The Men's Garden Club of Youngstown celebrated the season and installed a slate of officers at a Christmas party that took place Dec. 4 at Colonial Catering.
Inducted during a ceremony led by Bill Hill of Stow were Bill Slabe, president; Joe Alessi, first vice president; John Waldorf, second vice president; George Hoover, treasurer; and Leno Laner, recording secretary.
The club's Bronze Award was presented to Alessi, and each woman in attendance received a poinsettia plant.
