McNeels observe 50th anniversary at family dinner

XMASURY -- Mr. and Mrs. Stanley McNeel of 558 S. Stateline Road were honored Nov. 29 at a family dinner at Captain Joe's in Jesup, Ga., on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the couple's son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Maria McNeel of Hinesville, Ga. Their family also includes another son and daughter-in-law, Stanley Jr. and Emma McNeel of Masury, and three grandchildren.
Mr. McNeel, who is also known as "Dean," and the former Pauline K. Yarabenetz were married Nov. 29, 1952, at Sts. Peter & amp; Paul Church in Warren. He retired in 1995 from Westinghouse in Sharon, Pa., where he was a coil winder. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and in Vietnam, retiring as a master sergeant in 1970. He is a part-time security officer with Pinkerton Security in Warren.
His wife is a homemaker.
