XYOUNGSTOWN -- Liliya Urevna Phillips and Daniel Steven Hoffman, both of 123 Prestwick Drive, Boardman, exchanged marriage vows before the Rev. Feodor Kovalchuck during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Nov. 17 at Russian Orthodox Nativity of Christ Church.
The bride is a daughter of Urij and Svetlana Ichanoz of Tver, Russia. The groom is a son of Thomas and Patricia Hoffman, 4129 Baymar Drive, Boardman.
The newlyweds were honored during a reception at their home. They plan a delayed honeymoon this summer to Moscow and other European cities.
The bride wore a soft-pink princess-style dress fashioned with spaghetti straps.
Mrs. Hoffman graduated from Staritza College in Russia with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and from University of Antwerp in Belgium with an associate degree in business and international languages. She is a beauty consultant at Dillard's, Boardman.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in biology and sports medicine at Mount Union College, Alliance, and a master's in biology at Youngstown State University. He is an assembler at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.
Honor attendant was Tatyana Gillett. Flower girl was Taylor Hoffman, the groom's daughter.
The groom's cousin, Victor Carrocce, was best man. Antony Ichanov, the bride's son, was ring bearer. Ushers were Ed Dill and John Ross, the groom's brother-in-law.
The newlyweds live in Boardman.
