Installation ceremony held by Boardman South AARP

BOARDMAN -- The installation of officers who will head Boardman South Chapter 4545 of American Association of Retired Persons during the coming season was a highlight of a Christmas dinner held Dec. 4 at the Holiday Inn on South Avenue.
Bob Locke conducted in installation ceremony for Margaret Mullen, president; Roselle Stickel, vice president; Margaret Ellashek, secretary; and Elmer Haidel, treasurer.
Selected as committee chairmen were Helen Sutherland, chaplain; Betty Bisker, membership; Laura and Mike Pavlik, community service; Madeline Pedaline, public relations; and Frances Ritz and Helen Day, social.
Lee Howell introduced the guest speaker, the Rev. Ash Welch, who presented the program, "Christmas Memories."
Toys and gifts were donated by members for distribution by the Salvation Army.
