Bates-VanFossan troth announced, wedding planned

XMONMOUTH, Ill. -- Mr. and Mrs. David Bates of Monmouth are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Angela Bates, and Joshua VanFossan, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald VanFossan of Leetonia.
The bride-elect graduated from Ohio State University in June and will continue her education at the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy.
The future groom will graduate from OSU in March with a degree in sociology, specializing in criminology.
The couple have chosen Aug. 30, 2003, for their wedding at the United Methodist Church in Troy.
