BARBARA KOLLARTHOMAS SCHLOSSER
XCAMPBELL -- The marriage of Barbara Ann Kollar, 1959 Smithfield St., Youngstown, and Thomas F. Schlosser, 9352 Knauf Road, Canfield, was solemnized by the Rev. Michael Swierz at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at St. John the Baptist Church.
The daughter of Martin and Eleanor Kollar, also of the Smithfield Street address, and the son of Rudolph R.I. and Betty Schlosser, 473 Harmony Lane, were honored afterward during a reception at the Italian-American Veterans Centre, Youngstown.
The bride wore a white off-the-shoulder-style gown embellished with lace, pearls and sequins. It featured long sleeves and a full organza skirt that flowed into a cathedral train.
Cranberry-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Patty Liberatore, and the bridesmaids, Michele Schaffer; Shirley McGraw, the bride's cousin; and Becke Messersmith, sister of the groom.
Steve Terlecki served as best man, and groomsmen were Rudy Schlosser, the groom's brother, and Daniel Messersmith and Kenneth Johnston, his brothers-in-law.
The bride attended Youngstown State University. She is a plant liaison with Comprehensive Logistics in Lordstown and is also employed by Joe Rulli Produce Co.
The groom is a shipping and receiving manager with Nationwide Industrial Supply in Youngstown.
The couple live at the Knauf Road address.
