Some taxi riders are getting fleeced

NEW YORK (AP) -- Hundreds of New York City taxis got a fleece-lift, compliments of Old Navy.
The retailer recently teamed with the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission to cover the rear seats of the taxis with fleece slipcovers. In addition to providing a cozy seat for passengers, Old Navy and the TLC also are working together to provide needy families with warm winter clothes.
For each ride taken in a fleece taxi during a two week period, a donation will be made to the charity New York Cares.
Ivana Trump and Kevin Bacon were among the first fares.
