DUI checkpoint set
YOUNGSTOWN -- City police will have a DUI checkpoint from 10 tonight to 2 a.m. Sunday, weather permitting, on Market Street at Wayne Avenue.
Police Chief Robert E. Bush Jr. said this is the first of several checkpoints that will be held during the holiday season in conjunction with the Red Ribbon Campaign of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and the Save a Life Campaign sponsored by Mahoning Safe Communities, District Board of Health.

YOUNGSTOWN -- The North Side Eagle Eye block watch Christmas celebration will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Forum Health Medical Education Building, Auditorium C, on Gypsy Lane.
All residents who live within the area of Catalina Avenue, Rowland Avenue, Margaret Street and Belmont Avenue are invited to attend.
