STATE FUNDS Housing help
The State Controlling Board has approved $5.5 million from the low- and moderate-income housing trust fund to assist 74 Ohio organizations in housing-related activities, including emergency home repair, handicapped accessibility, down-payment assistance and homelessness prevention. The fund is a program of the Ohio Department of Development, and these local organizations are being funded:
Community Action Agency of Columbiana County Inc.: $27,400.Columbiana County Mental Health Center: $85,800.Catholic Charities Housing Opportunities of Mahoning County: $50,000.Interfaith Home Maintenance Services: $80,000.Mahoning Valley Dispute Resolution Services: $50,000.Meridian Services Inc.: $60,000.Beatitude House: $45,100.
