GIRARD School board action

The school board handled these matters at its Wednesday night meeting:
Announced ground breaking for the addition at Prospect Elementary School for 1:30 p.m. Monday at the school.
Approved the continuing contract with Theresa Canterino, district assistant treasurer, at $24,750 for 2003.
Approved Keith Carpenter as junior high school wrestling coach and Craig Carpenter as volunteer wrestling assistant coach.
Appointed board member Thomas Grumley to the Trumbull Career & amp; Technical Center board.
Recognized John Spano and Greg May as volunteer indoor track coaches.
