REGIONAL BASKETBALL DePaul defeats Ohio U.; E. Michigan triumphs
Butler and Loyola posted Horizon League victories.

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Delonte Holland scored 22 points and Sam Hoskin added 20 Tuesday as DePaul defeated Ohio, 73-65.
DePaul (4-0) went on a 11-0 run in the first half that started on a Quemont Greer jumper to make it 16-10 and ended on a Joe Tulley 3-pointer to make it 25-10 with 4:04 remaining. Ohio (1-3) went scoreless for more than nine minutes during that span.
Tulley hit a 3-pointer to give DePaul a 38-19 lead, which was their largest of the game. Tulley ended with 12 points
Holland and Hoskin went a combined 6-for-6 from the free throw line for DePaul to hold off the Bobcats down the stretch.
Sonny Johnson had 22 points and Brandon Hunter had 14 points and 15 rebounds for the Bobcats.
Eastern Michigan 97, Rochester (Mich.) 48
YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Senior Ryan Prillman scored a career-high 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Eastern Michigan.
Prillman was 8-of-14 from the field and 11-of-14 from the free throw line. Sophomores Marcus Austin and James Jackson each added 14 points for the Eagles (4-1) while senior Steve Pettyjohn pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.
Rochester dropped to 10-5.

Butler 75, Bradley 70
INDIANAPOLIS -- Brandon Miller scored 21 points and Darnell Archey added 15 for Butler.
The Bulldogs (6-0) went ahead for good, 68-66, on a three-point play by Duane Lightfoot with 41 seconds left. Butler then went 7-for-7 from the free-throw line to seal the win.
Phillip Gilbert scored 25 points for Bradley (2-3). Gilbert and Danny Granger combined to shoot 17-for-27 from the field, 6-for-6 from 3-point range and made 11 of 18 free throws.
Joel Cornette scored 14 points and Mike Monserez added 12 points and eight rebounds for the Bulldogs.
Loyola 62, UMBC 43
BALTIMORE -- Bobby Bossman scored a career-high 18 points to lead Loyola to victory over UMBC.
Bossman also hit four of seven 3-pointers.
Lucious Jordan and Bernard Allen each scored 14 points for Loyola. Allen also led the team with 11 rebounds.
Kareem Washington led UMBC with 12 points and grabbed six rebounds. Andrew Feeley had seven rebounds. The Retrievers hit only 2 of 19 3-point attempts.

CALIFORNIA, Pa. -- Ishmieal Kalara scored 26 points to become the 29th player in school history to collect 1,000 points as California, Pa., defeated Geneva.
Ryan Stefanski also had 17 points for California (5-3).
Terrance Ward hit for 11 points for Geneva (5-4).
Bethany 91, Kenyon 90
BETHANY, W. Va. -- Mike Majzum scored a career-high 32 points in the battle of winless teams.
Derek Hoffman also had 22 points for Bethany (1-5).
John Campbell led Kenyon (0-7) with 26 points.
