NEWTON FALLS -- The public library has three holiday programs planned for young people and the family.
Children in kindergarten through sixth grade can make decorated confections from 6 to 7 p.m. today. Those in grades seven through 12 can create a Christmas craft in a new program set for 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. This year's Holiday Family Storytime is set for 6:30 p.m. Monday.

A project for kids
Pretty frames: Decorate Lucite picture frames by gluing buttons around the front edges. Or try stickers, puffy pens or uncooked macaroni in different shapes.
