Auction to benefit Amish family

HERMITAGE, Pa. -- The Hermitage Fire Department will be the host for a benefit Christmas auction for the Wengerd family Friday.
Rod Loomis of Loomco International, an auctioneer and Rudy Wengerd's employer at the Mercer County Livestock Auction, will serve as the auctioneer.
The sale will begin at 7 p.m. at the Hermitage Central Fire Station at 2511 Highland Road and will feature toys, tools, Christmas gifts, crafts, gift certificates, electronics, furniture and more.
All of the sale items have been donated by local businesses and families and additional items are being accepted at Loomco International, 209 Reynolds Industrial Park Road, just off Pa. Route 18 in Transfer, Pa.
