LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements



BOARDMAN -- American Beauty Landscaping has received a top award for its entry in the 33rd annual Environmental Improvement Awards Program sponsored by the Associated Landscape Contractors of America. The project recognized with the group's Grand Award was a three-tiered terrace and formal water garden the company constructed for a Poland homeowner. Roger Myers is the founder and owner of the Boardman company, and Chris Mikol is chief designer.
CANFIELD -- Ronald E. Midgley of Youngstown, a first vice president of investments for Prudential Financial based in Canfield, received a Prudential Community Champions Rising Star Award for his volunteer service to the Mahoning County Bar Association Foundation. He is one of 853 employees and retirees across the country Prudential is recognizing for volunteer commitment, leadership and community service.
U.S. Bancorp recognized four of its employees from the Warren and Youngstown areas with its quarterly Pinnacle Award for outstanding achievement and performance. Those honored were: Vicky Italiano, Canfield branch manager; Venita Collins, Newton Falls branch manager; Stephanie Lynn Pegg, Warren branch manager; and Michelle Melic, Youngstown branch manager.
WARREN -- Northeast Ohio Adoption Services honored eight of its business partners recently for their efforts to raise funds for the agency and promote its efforts to find adoptive families for children. Those recognized included: Joseph Tahos, B & amp;B Contractors and Developers; Dennis Lewis Jr., Lewis Development Corp.; Jim Weller, Liberty Steel Products; Julie Ferguson, representing both Packer Thomas and the Howland Kiwanis; Tim Wicinski, Giant Eagle LPGA Classic; Nanette Brunie of Lexington Connector Seals; Louise Mason from Liberty Local Schools; Rick Jenkins, Niles Target Store.
POLAND -- Dannelle M. Bagnoli, a Poland native and school psychologist in the Columbus Public Schools District, has met the standards to become a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Bagnoli is a 1994 graduate of Poland High School, has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in school psychology, both from Ohio State University.
EAST LIVERPOOL -- Shining Reflections Vocational Training Program, a nonprofit organization based in East Liverpool, has received a three-year accreditation for its employee development services programs from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
