TOYS FOR TOTS Mahoning Valley

Several promotional events have been scheduled for the Marine Corps' annual Toys for Tots program in the Mahoning Valley:
8 to 10 p.m. Monday: Buena Vista Cafe, 1305 Buena Vista Ave. N.E., Warren, Youngstown Browns Backers present Cleveland Browns players for Toys for Tots.
7:30 p.m. Wednesday: Poland Seminary High School gym, Toys for Tots charity basketball game. The Marines will be taking on the Youngstown All-Stars. The admission price is a new toy worth $10 or an equivalent cash donation.
8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday: Clear Channel Radio, 7461 South Ave., Boardman 12-hour toy drive.
5 to 7 a.m. Dec. 16: WFMJ-TV, Channel 21, 101 W. Boardman St., Youngstown, toy drive.
5 a.m. to noon Dec. 17: WYTV, Channel 33, 3800 Shady Run Road, Youngstown, Toys for Tots Marathon.
6 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 17: Creekside Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard, Ohio Browns Boosters benefiting Toys for Tots presents Dennis Northcutt of the Cleveland Browns.
10 p.m. Dec. 18: Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Vienna. Acordia Insurance flies Santa into the air base.
2 to 10 p.m. Dec. 22: Ollie's Pub and Grub, 2716 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Toys for Tots benefit show with eight competing bands. $5 cover charge or $5 unwrapped donated toy.
