Rose society officers seated at party

ELLSWORTH -- The installation of officers for the coming season was a highlight of a Christmas party held by Columbiana Rose Society Dec. 2 at Diamond Back Golf Course.
Inducted into office were George Crook, president; Betty Hinkle, vice president; Marilyn Deitsch, secretary; and Richard Sitler, treasurer.
The program included a slide presentation on the history of poinsettias. Receiving special recognition were Dawn Rance, outgoing president, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bethard, who have been society members for 45 years.
Hostesses were Annabelle Sitler and Barbara Crook.
