NEW CASTLE, PA. -- "Joy To The World," a musical celebration of Christmas, will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 at Westfield Presbyterian Church. The program of sacred Christmas music is directed by Steve Pridon and will feature the Westfield Chancel Choir, Faithful Ringers, The Sheet & amp; Tube Brass Quartet, a harpist and Kirk Kupensky. All donations received will benefit Project H.O.P.E., an outreach ministry of the Mohawk area churches of Lawrence County. Refreshments will follow. Call (724) 667-7045.
Christmas musical

NORTH LIMA -- Calvary United Methodist Church will present a Live Nativity from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 21 and 22, and 5:15 to 7:15 p.m. Dec. 24.
Youth program
HOWLAND -- Howland Community Church will present an outreach event for children preschool age through Grade 3 entitled, "Come to the Manger." The event is from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 21. Children in small groups will go through six activity centers: Joseph's Carpenter Shop, Bethlehem Barnyard, Come To the Manger, Star Cookie Decorating, Beaded Candy-cane making, and creation of their own Nativity scene. Christmas drama
YOUNGSTOWN -- Mahoning Valley Church will present the Christmas drama of the true meaning of Christmas, "Where Are You, Christmas?" at 6 p.m. Saturday and at 10 and 11:45 a.m. Sunday. Call (330) 797-3203.
Choir concert set
YOUNGSTOWN -- Union Baptist Church will have a mass choir Christmas concert, "Come, Let Us Adore Him" at 6:30 p.m. next Saturday. Participating will be the Baptist district association representing eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and northern West Virginia.
Live Nativity scene
CORNERSBURG -- Zion Lutheran Church will have its 23rd consecutive live Nativity scene Dec. 22. Productions of "The Nativity -- A Night in Bethlehem" will be at 5:30, 6, 6:30 and 7 p.m. The drama will include narration, music and live animals. A light meal will be offered to all who attend.
