DURHAM, N.C. -- Iciss Tillis had 22 points and 10 rebounds, and top-ranked Duke set a school scoring record in the first round of the Duke Women's Classic. Freshman Mistie Bass scored 19 points, and Alana Beard had 16 points and eight assists as seven Blue Devils reached double figures in scoring. Duke set the previous record of 120 points in a 121-120 quadruple-overtime loss to Alabama in the 1995 NCAA Tournament. Duke (6-0), which had a 28-0 run of more than seven minutes in the first half, will face St. Joseph's on Sunday in the championship game. St. Joseph's defeated Buffalo 68-59 Friday.

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Laurie Koehn had 25 points, including a tournament record seven 3-pointers, to lead Kansas State into the finals of the Commerce Bank Classic. Koehn was 7-of-13 from beyond the arc. Nicole Ohlde added 16 points for Kansas State (7-1), which plays Weber State in the finals Saturday. Eboni Kirby led Middle Tennessee State (2-2) with 13 points.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Lindsay Whalen scored 19 points, and Minnesota overcame a sluggish first half with an 11-0 run that proved decisive. Whalen and Corrin Von Wald scored four points each during an 11-0 run as Minnesota (6-0) broke open a close game. Von Wold added 16 points.
No. 13 Arkansas 79, Northwestern St. 60
HOUSTON -- India Lewis scored 19 points, and Arkansas used a huge run in the second half to pull away in the opening game of the Gene Hackerman Rice Invitational. The Lady Razorbacks (5-1) were leading 54-40 when Lewis made a 3-pointer that began an 18-2 burst.

ATHENS, Ga. -- Kara Braxton scored a career-high 30 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for Georgia. Christi Thomas had 23 points and 11 rebounds for the Lady Dogs (3-2). Mary Beth Lycett added 17 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists.
