WORCESTER, Mass. -- Ann Strother scored 18 points, and combined with Diana Taurasi to key a decisive second-half run that led third-ranked Connecticut over Holy Cross 68-46 Thursday night.
Taurasi, held to four points in the first half, finished with 14 for the Huskies (6-0), who have won 45 straight games. Katie O'Keefe scored 23 points to lead Holy Cross (2-3).
The Crusaders trailed 27-25 at halftime, but O'Keefe put Holy Cross ahead 32-29 with a 3-pointer early in the second half. But Strother and Taurasi combined for nine points in a 14-0 run by the defending NCAA champions.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Nikita Bell had 15 points and six rebounds as North Carolina controlled both ends of the court.
The Tar Heels (5-1) dominated the boards 50-31 and had four more defensive rebounds than the overall total of the Mountaineers (1-4).
La'Tangela Atkinson had 11 points and Candace Sutton scored eight, and both had seven boards for the Tar Heels.

NORMAN, Okla. -- Maria Villarroel had 27 points and nine rebounds as No. 18 Oklahoma proved too strong inside.
The Sooners (6-2) outscored the Lady Jacks (0-4) 38-10 in the paint and outrebounded them 48-24.
Villarroel led the Sooners with 16 points in the first 20 minutes, and Theresa Schuknecht had six of her 20 in OU's 11-4 late first-half run.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Jennifer Leitner had 28 points and 11 rebounds to lead BYU past San Francisco.
Erin Thorn scored 12 points for the Cougars (5-0), including a 3-pointer deep from the left wing at the halftime buzzer that cut San Francisco's lead to 39-38.
Lisa Whiteside scored 23 points and Carey Sauer added 19 for the Lady Dons (2-4).
No. 25 Cincinnati 91,E. Kentucky 78
RICHMOND, Ky. -- Valerie King tied Cincinnati's single-game record with six 3-pointers, and scored 30 points to lead the 25th-ranked Bearcats.
King wound up 11-for-22 overall for Cincinnati (3-1). Pam Garrett led Eastern Kentucky (4-3) with 19 points.
Debbie Merrill added 16 points for Cincinnati, while K.B. Sharp had 12 points and 12 assists, making her the school's career leader with 469.
Baldwin-Wallace 78, Grove City 46
BEREA -- Erika Schulz scored 10 points, as 18 players got into the scoring column for Baldwin-Wallace (4-0).
Jocelyn Kempema led Grove City (0-6) with 12 points.
