Hawks 98, Bucks 80
ATLANTA -- Glenn Robinson scored 23 points in his first game against his old team, and Jason Terry added 19 for Atlanta. Robinson was traded to Atlanta in the off-season after eight seasons in Milwaukee, where he was part of the "big three" with Ray Allen and Sam Cassell. But after the Bucks reached the Eastern Conference finals two years ago, they fell to 41-41 last season and missed the playoffs. Theo Ratliff added 13 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks for the Hawks, who had lost six of eight. Tim Thomas had 17 points for Milwaukee, and Allen, who came off the injured list before the game, scored 16. Cassell played only 31 minutes after injuring his hip in the first half and scored 13 for the Bucks, who lost for the fifth time in seven games.
Timberwolves 114, Warriors 98
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Kevin Garnett had 21 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists as Minnesota snapped Golden State's three-game winning streak. Kendall Gill scored 19 points, Anthony Peeler added 17 and Joe Smith had 15 points and 10 rebounds as Minnesota used a balanced attack to win in Oakland for the third straight time. Antawn Jamison had 32 points and 10 rebounds to lead five starters in double figures for Golden State, but the Warriors weren't able to earn their first four-game winning streak since February 2000.
